Rare Coin
Investment’s (RCI) Certified Coin Estate™ display trays are simply the finest display products for
certified coins in the marketplace. You can see our display
trays at the tables of many of the major dealers at national
coin shows. They use them to display their nicer, more valuable
coins. And, these are the same display trays that
they offer to their best clients.
|
| |
Collectors
use our Certified Coin Estate™ display trays
to enhance the beauty, and consequently,
the perceived value of their certified coin collection. Dealers
use our display trays to showcase their coins,
and to quickly set up and break down their inventory at the
end of the day. Our trays also give dealers and collectors
a greater sense of security by allowing them to quickly see
if any coins are missing. |

Certified
Coin Estate™ display trays were originally designed and developed
by Dr. Fey to house his own collection. However, when other dealers
and collectors saw them, they too wanted them, thus the Certified
Coin Estate™ line of products was born.
Each of our
display trays are composed of a hand made wooden frame that is overlaid
with a durable black cloth. Contained within each tray is a multi-layered
foam insert that is die cut in a 3 x 3 arrangement that is capable
of attractively holding up to 9 certified coins. Die cut plugs can
be left in place or removed and reused again later such that 1 coin,
3 coins, 4, coins, 5 coins, 6 coins, or 9 coins, a symmetrical arrangement,
would still give an attractive appearance. One simply pulls out
the plug to insert a certified coin. The slab will be nestled into
the soft foam and will not fall out even if you should happen to
turn the display tray over. The surface of the foam has a flocked,
rich velvet-like appearance that will blend at the same surface
level of your coins. Insertion and removal of coins is both quick
and easy. To order, please click on one of the following options. |

Or, for those of you who would rather have a “built-in”
cover to go along with your “Universal” black display
tray so that you can easily carry up to 9 coins around in an
attractive display (and also prevent dust from getting in) we
now offer a Certified Coin Estate™ Portfolio. |

If you
have a certified coin that you wish to give to someone special
as an award, as a presentation piece to a client, or as a gift
to a loved one, our “Universal Single Presentation Cases
are the answer. They are made of durable steel with a spring
closure hinge, much like a watch box. They are overlaid with
an attractive and professional flocked, black velvet-like material.
Our inserts have a proprietary design to hold each of the different
certification service holders snugly, even during shipping.
Certified coins may also be placed in our holders in a display
case at just the right angle for optimum viewing. |

Over
the years, we have found that the best storage box in the marketplace
for “bulk” storage (as compared with attractive
display) of certified coins is the NGC™ plastic storage
box. These can hold up to 20 certified coin holders from all
the different services, where as other grading service boxes
can only hold their own graded coins or perhaps one of two of
the other grading services holders. They can conveniently be
placed in a bank vault, safe, or other secure place, or can
conveniently be carried around. They offer a simple, yet inexpensive
storage capability with the added benefit of an additional barrier
of entry from external environmental gases, light and moisture.
